Ingredients
Scale
Liquid Ingredients
- 1 bottle (25 oz) white wine (preferably Pinot Grigio)
- 1 bottle (25 oz) sparkling white grape juice or sparkling apple cider
- Club soda, to top off drinks
- Light corn syrup, for glass rims
Fruits
- 3/4 cup whole cranberries
- 1/3 cup halved cranberries
- 1/2 cup seedless green grapes, halved
- 2 Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped
Herbs & Garnish
- 2 – 3 rosemary sprigs
- Coconut flakes, for glass rims
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: Add the white wine, sparkling white grape juice (or sparkling apple cider), whole cranberries, halved cranberries, halved green grapes, chopped Granny Smith apples, and rosemary sprigs into a large pitcher. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients evenly.
- Chill Sangria: Cover the pitcher and refrigerate the sangria for at least 4 hours or longer to allow the flavors to meld and fruit to infuse the liquid.
- Prepare Glasses: Drizzle light corn syrup in a shallow bowl and place coconut flakes in another shallow bowl. Dip the rims of stemless wine glasses first into the corn syrup, then into the coconut flakes to create a frosted rim effect.
- Serve and Garnish: Pour the chilled sangria into the prepared glasses, making sure to include some infused fruit pieces in each glass. Garnish with an additional rosemary sprig if desired, and top each glass with a splash of club soda to add refreshing bubbles.
Notes
- Chilling the sangria for longer than 4 hours enhances the flavor infusion.
- Use a dry white wine like Pinot Grigio for a crisp taste or experiment with other varietals based on preference.
- For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the white wine with additional sparkling grape juice.
- Light corn syrup helps the coconut flakes adhere better to the glass rims.
- Adjust the amount of rosemary and fruit according to taste and presentation preferences.
