  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Alternate Mixing: Gradually add dry ingredients and milk to butter mixture.
  6. Bake: Pour batter into pan, bake for 60–70 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool and Serve: Cool in pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
