Description

This vibrant Unicorn Fudge is a delightful and colorful treat perfect for parties or a fun dessert. Made with creamy white chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and a swirl of pastel food colorings, this fudge is topped with marshmallow bits and rainbow sprinkles to add a magical touch. It is easy to make and requires only a few simple ingredients, coming together quickly with a stovetop melting method.

Ingredients

Scale

Fudge Base

  • 3½ cups white chocolate chips
  • 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp salted butter

Coloring and Toppings

  • Pink food coloring
  • Purple food coloring
  • Blue food coloring (teal recommended)
  • ½ cup marshmallow bits
  • 1 tbsp rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line a square baking pan (8×8 inches) with parchment paper or lightly grease it to ensure the fudge does not stick when set.
  2. Melt the Ingredients: In a medium-sized saucepan over low heat, combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and salted butter. Stir continuously until the mixture is fully melted and smooth, ensuring the chocolate doesn’t burn.
  3. Divide and Color: Remove the melted fudge mixture from heat and divide it evenly into three separate bowls. Add pink food coloring to one bowl, purple to another, and blue (or teal) to the last bowl. Stir each until the colors are vibrant and consistent.
  4. Create the Swirl: Pour the colored fudge mixtures alternately into the prepared pan, dropping spoonfuls of each color side-by-side. Use a skewer or knife to gently swirl the colors together, creating a marbled unicorn effect without fully mixing them.
  5. Add Toppings: Sprinkle the marshmallow bits and rainbow sprinkles evenly over the top of the swirled fudge to add texture and a magical appearance.
  6. Set the Fudge: Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours or until the fudge is firm and set.
  7. Serve: Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper and cut into 15 squares. Serve chilled for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Use teal blue food coloring for a more vibrant and whimsical color effect.
  • Ensure to stir continuously when melting the chocolate to prevent burning or graininess.
  • Store leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • You can substitute marshmallow bits for mini marshmallows if unavailable.
  • For a dairy-free version, use white chocolate chips and milk substitutes labeled dairy-free.
