Description

These Strawberry Moscato Popsicles are a refreshing and delightful frozen treat combining the natural sweetness of fresh strawberries with the floral notes of Moscato wine. Perfect for warm days, they offer a fruity, boozy twist on classic popsicles that are easy to make and sure to impress.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh strawberries
  • 3 cups Moscato wine

Instructions

  1. Prepare Strawberries: Roughly slice the fresh strawberries, measuring as you go by slicing directly into a measuring cup. Add the sliced strawberries to your blender once the measuring cup is full.
  2. Add Wine: Pour the Moscato wine into the blender with the strawberries.
  3. Blend Ingredients: Blend the strawberries and Moscato until they are completely combined and the strawberries are pureed to your desired consistency.
  4. Pour into Molds: Pour the strawberry Moscato mixture into popsicle molds. If foam or bubbles form on top, either spoon them off before pouring or wait a few minutes for the foam to settle.
  5. Enjoy the Leftover Moscato: Drink the remaining Moscato wine as you prepare for freezing.
  6. Add Sticks and Freeze: If using popsicle molds with wooden sticks, freeze the popsicles for 2 to 3 hours first, then insert the sticks. Freeze for at least an additional four hours, preferably overnight.
  7. Remove and Serve: To release the popsicles easily, dip the mold into warm water for about 10 seconds. Store the popsicles in a large Ziploc bag for convenience.

Notes

  • Removing foam from the top before freezing can help achieve a smoother texture.
  • If your popsicle mold does not accommodate sticks before freezing, add sticks after partial freezing as recommended.
  • Use warm water briefly to loosen popsicles from molds without melting them.
  • Store popsicles in an airtight bag to prevent freezer burn and preserve flavor.
