Description

Strawberry Cool Whip Pie is a refreshing and easy no-bake dessert featuring sweet strawberry gelatin combined with fluffy Cool Whip and fresh strawberries, all nestled in a crunchy graham cracker crust. Perfect for summer gatherings or anytime you crave a light, fruity treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 1 pre-made graham cracker pie crust (9-inch)

Filling

  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, chopped

Garnish (Optional)

  • Additional whole strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Dissolve Gelatin: In a medium bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 1/2 cup boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
  2. Add Cold Water and Cool: Stir in 1/2 cup cold water and let the mixture cool to room temperature, approximately 10–15 minutes.
  3. Fold in Cool Whip: Once the gelatin mixture has cooled, gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip until fully combined and smooth, creating a light and creamy filling.
  4. Add Strawberries: Stir in the chopped fresh strawberries evenly throughout the mixture.
  5. Assemble Pie: Pour the strawberry-Cool Whip filling into the pre-made graham cracker crust, smoothing the top with a spatula for an even surface.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or until fully set and firm to the touch.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Before serving, garnish the pie with additional whole strawberries or extra whipped topping if desired for a decorative touch.

Notes

  • For a stronger strawberry flavor, use strawberry-flavored Cool Whip if available or add a few drops of natural strawberry extract.
  • Frozen strawberries can be used; just thaw and drain them well before mixing to avoid excess moisture.
