Scale
Base Ingredients
- 4 cups lemon-lime soda (chilled)
- 2 cups pineapple juice (chilled)
- 1 cup coconut milk or cream of coconut
Ice Cream & Garnishes
- 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
- Red sanding sugar or sprinkles (for rimming glasses)
- Maraschino cherries (for garnish)
- Mini candy canes (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare Glasses: If desired, rim the glasses by dipping them in water or light corn syrup, then into red sanding sugar to add a festive, sparkling edge.
- Make Punch Base: In a large punch bowl, combine the chilled lemon-lime soda, pineapple juice, and coconut milk. Stir gently to mix the flavors without flattening the soda.
- Add Ice Cream “Snowballs”: Add scoops of vanilla ice cream on top of the punch surface to resemble snowballs. You can let the ice cream melt slightly for a creamy texture or serve immediately for a fizzy float effect.
- Serve and Garnish: Ladle the punch into the prepared glasses and garnish each with a maraschino cherry and a mini candy cane for a fun holiday touch.
Notes
- For an adult version, add 1 cup of coconut rum or white rum to the punch base.
- You can prepare the punch base ahead of time and add the ice cream just before serving to keep it fresh.
- For a richer coconut flavor, substitute cream of coconut in place of coconut milk.
