Description

These Roasted Garlic Cauliflower Tots are a delicious and healthier alternative to traditional tater tots. Packed with flavor from roasted garlic and cheeses, these crispy tots make a perfect snack or appetizer.

Cauliflower Tots:

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 4 cloves roasted garlic, mashed
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil spray or drizzle, for baking


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare cauliflower: Steam or microwave the cauliflower florets until tender, about 5–7 minutes. Drain, cool, chop finely, and squeeze out excess moisture.
  3. Mix ingredients: In a bowl, combine cauliflower, roasted garlic, cheeses, breadcrumbs, egg, and seasonings. Mix well.
  4. Form tots: Shape mixture into small tots and place on baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil.
  5. Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes at 400°F, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.

Notes

  • To roast garlic, wrap whole cloves in foil and bake at 400°F for 30–35 minutes until soft and golden.
