Pecan Pie Balls:
- 2 cups pecans (finely chopped)
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup or corn syrup
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Coating:
- 10 oz melting chocolate (dark or milk)
- Optional: flaky salt or crushed pecans for topping
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, maple syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until fully combined.
- Form Balls: Scoop mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 20–30 minutes.
- Melt Chocolate: Melt chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals. Dip chilled balls in chocolate and place back on the sheet.
- Chill: Sprinkle with salt or pecans if desired. Chill in the fridge until chocolate sets. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 2 months.
- Use toasted pecans for extra flavor and corn syrup for a more traditional taste.
