Cake:

Orange Cream Frosting:
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 4 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- Mix the cake: In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, orange juice, oil, eggs, orange zest, pudding mix, and vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes until smooth.
- Bake: Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool and frost: Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Meanwhile, make the frosting by beating the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
