Ingredients
Scale
Crust
- 2 refrigerated pie crusts (unbaked)
Egg Mixture
- 5 large eggs
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Add-ins (Optional)
- Add-ins of choice such as diced ham, shredded cheese, chopped spinach, sautéed mushrooms, or cooked bacon
Instructions
- Prepare Oven and Muffin Tin: Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and spray a 24-count mini muffin tin with nonstick spray to prevent sticking.
- Cut and Place Crust: Using a 2-inch cookie cutter or similar tool, cut circles from the refrigerated pie crust. Place one circle into each muffin cup, gently pressing it in. Poke the bottom of each crust twice with a fork to prevent bubbling during baking.
- Mix Egg Filling: In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, kosher salt, and ground black pepper until fully combined and slightly frothy.
- Fill Muffin Cups: Pour the egg mixture evenly into each crust-lined muffin cup, filling them almost to the top. Add your preferred add-ins on top of the egg mixture if desired.
- Bake: Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the filling is set.
- Serve: Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly, then serve warm and enjoy your mini quiches.
