Description

These Louisiana Voodoo Fries are a spicy and cheesy twist on classic loaded fries. Perfectly seasoned crispy fries topped with melted cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, crumbled bacon, pickled jalapeños, and a zesty ranch drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale

Fries:

  • 1 (28 oz) bag frozen seasoned French fries

Cheese Topping:

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese (shredded)

Additional Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon (crumbled)
  • 1/2 cup pickled jalapeño slices
  • 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)

Spicy Ranch Drizzle:

  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (like Louisiana or Crystal)
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 425°F (218°C) and bake the fries until golden and crispy.
  2. Prepare Spicy Ranch: Mix ranch dressing and hot sauce in a bowl.
  3. Top and Bake: Spread out cooked fries, sprinkle with Cajun seasoning, top with cheeses, bacon, and jalapeños. Bake until cheese is melted.
  4. Finish and Serve: Drizzle with spicy ranch, sprinkle with green onions, and serve hot.

Notes

  • For a meatless version, skip the bacon and add black beans or sautéed mushrooms.
  • Serve with extra ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side if desired.
