Instructions
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in Vanilla: Add the vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the flour and salt, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Tint Dough: If desired, add a few drops of green food coloring and mix until evenly tinted.
- Add Mix-Ins: Fold in the sprinkles and mini chocolate chips.
- Shape and Chill: Scoop the dough into small 1-inch balls, flatten slightly, and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Bake: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the cookies for 10–12 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
