Pastry
- 1 sheet Puff pastry
Toppings
- 6-8 pieces Gypsy or Genoa Salami
- 6-8 Cherry tomatoes
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 3 tbsp Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat and prepare pastry: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly flour your countertop and roll out the sheet of puff pastry to approximately 1/8 inch thickness. Carefully transfer the pastry sheet onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Season the pastry: Evenly sprinkle the Italian seasoning over the surface of the pastry to infuse it with classic Italian flavors.
- Add salami and tomatoes: Dice the salami into small pieces and scatter them across the pastry. Slice the cherry tomatoes lengthwise into 3-4 thin slices and arrange them evenly on top. Finally, sprinkle the Parmesan cheese generously over all the toppings.
- Bake the tart: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the tart for approximately 18-20 minutes. Begin checking at 15 minutes to monitor progress and ensure the pastry is golden and crisp and the toppings cooked perfectly.
Notes
- You can substitute the cherry tomatoes with one whole Roma tomato, sliced thinly.
- Ingredient quantities can be adjusted to your preference; add more salami or Parmesan if desired.
