Baked Brie:
- 1 wheel of Brie cheese (8 ounces)
- 1/4 cup crushed pineapple (drained)
- 1/4 cup finely diced mango (fresh or thawed frozen)
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 teaspoon lime zest
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons chopped macadamia nuts (optional)
- 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix Fruit Filling: In a small bowl, combine pineapple, mango, brown sugar, honey, lime zest, and ginger. Add macadamia nuts for extra crunch.
- Prepare Puff Pastry: Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface. Place Brie in the center and top with fruit mixture.
- Wrap Brie: Fold pastry over the Brie, sealing the edges. Brush with egg wash and place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes until pastry is golden and puffed. Allow to cool before serving.
- Serve: Enjoy warm with crackers or sliced baguette.

- For a shortcut, bake Brie uncovered for 10 minutes, then add fruit mixture and bake 5 more minutes.
