Ingredients
Scale
Steak Bites
- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Parmesan Cream Sauce
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the Steak: In a bowl, toss the steak cubes with salt, black pepper, and paprika to evenly coat.
- Sear the Steak Bites: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak bites in a single layer. Sear for 2–3 minutes on each side until nicely browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- Prepare the Sauce: Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet and melt. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant but not burnt.
- Add Cream and Cheese: Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), and Italian seasoning. Let the sauce simmer gently for 2–3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Combine Steak and Sauce: Return the cooked steak bites to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the Parmesan cream sauce. Simmer for another minute to heat through and meld flavors.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top and serve the steak bites hot. Ideal served over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta.
Notes
- Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, or pasta for a fulfilling meal.
- You can substitute chicken or shrimp for the steak if preferred.
- For a thicker sauce, simmer longer or add a touch of cream cheese.
