Description

Indulge in the rich, creamy goodness of Frozen Hot Chocolate Cheesecake. This no-bake dessert combines the flavors of hot chocolate with a cheesecake twist, perfect for a winter treat.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 24 chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos), crushed
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup hot chocolate mix (not prepared)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional for extra texture)
  • whipped cream and chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, combine the crushed chocolate sandwich cookies and melted butter. Press firmly into a 9-inch springform pan and freeze.
  2. Make the Filling: Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, hot chocolate mix, vanilla, milk, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into cream cheese mixture.
  4. Combine: Fold in mini marshmallows and chocolate chips (if using). Pour over crust and freeze for at least 6 hours.
  5. Serve: Let sit at room temperature before slicing. Garnish with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.

Notes

  • For a mocha twist, use mocha hot chocolate mix or add instant espresso powder.
  • You can substitute store-bought whipped topping for homemade whipped cream.
