Ingredients
Scale
Margarita Mixture
- 2 ounces mango nectar
- 2 ounces silver tequila
- 1 ounce Cointreau (or other orange liqueur)
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- ½ ounce simple syrup
For Glass:
- lime wedges
- kosher salt (for rimming the glasses)
Instructions
- Rim the glass: Run a lime wedge around the rim of a glass to moisten it. Then, invert the glass and dip the rim into a shallow plate of kosher salt, ensuring the entire rim is evenly coated with salt. Set the glass aside.
- Make the margarita: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the mango nectar, silver tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds to chill and mix the ingredients well.
- Serve: Pour the shaken margarita mixture into the prepared glass with the salted rim. Garnish with an additional lime wedge if desired and serve immediately.
Notes
- Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor.
- Adjust the simple syrup amount to taste if you prefer a sweeter or more tart margarita.
- Chill your glass beforehand to keep the margarita cooler longer.
- For a frozen variation, blend all ingredients with ice instead of shaking.
