Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the butter in a 9×13-inch baking dish and put it in the oven to melt while the oven heats.
- Prepare the Banana Filling: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sliced bananas. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the bananas soften. Add vanilla and rum (if using), then remove from heat.
- Make the Cobbler Topping: In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until combined.
