Description

These Crispy Spicy Salmon Bites are a perfect balance of flavors, combining the heat of sriracha with the sweetness of honey, all on tender salmon bites with a crispy exterior. A delicious Asian-inspired dish that’s quick to make and sure to impress!

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 lb skinless salmon fillet, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Seasonings:

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

For Cooking:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for pan frying)
  • Optional garnish: sesame seeds, green onions, lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Salmon: In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sriracha, honey, sesame oil, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Add the salmon cubes, toss to coat, cover, and marinate in the refrigerator for 15–30 minutes.
  2. Coat with Cornstarch: Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated salmon and toss to coat.
  3. Cook the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
  4. Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and lime wedges. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, use an air fryer at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, shaking halfway through.
  • You can swap sriracha for chili garlic sauce or hot honey based on your spice preference.
