Ingredients
Scale
Vegetables
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
Seasonings
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Optional
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent sticking.
- Prepare Cauliflower: In a large mixing bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt until they are evenly coated in the seasoning mixture.
- Arrange on Baking Sheet: Spread the seasoned cauliflower florets in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure the pieces are not overcrowded to allow for even roasting.
- Roast Cauliflower: Roast in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping the florets halfway through the cooking time for even browning. The cauliflower should be golden brown and crispy on the edges when done.
- Add Parmesan Cheese: If using Parmesan cheese, sprinkle it over the cauliflower during the last 5 minutes of baking to let it melt and slightly crisp up.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove the cauliflower from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and fresh flavor before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the cauliflower is completely dry before seasoning to achieve extra crispiness when roasted.
- For a fresh flavor boost, add a squeeze of lemon juice just before serving.
- Feel free to adjust spices according to your taste preferences for more heat or smokiness.
