- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

- ¼ tsp black pepper
- Cooking spray or olive oil (for baking)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
- Prepare coating: Place flour in a shallow dish. Whisk eggs and water in another dish. Combine panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a third dish.
- Coat asparagus: Dredge each asparagus spear in flour, dip in egg mixture, then roll in Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat.
- Bake: Arrange coated asparagus on the baking sheet. Spray with cooking spray or drizzle with olive oil. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve: Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
