  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Prepare coating: Place flour in a shallow dish. Whisk eggs and water in another dish. Combine panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a third dish.
  3. Coat asparagus: Dredge each asparagus spear in flour, dip in egg mixture, then roll in Parmesan breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to coat.
