Ingredients
Scale
Filling
- 2 (8 oz) blocks cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 packet dry ranch dip mix
- 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 6–8 slices deli ham (Black Forest or your favorite), thinly sliced
Wraps
- Flour or wheat tortillas (6–8, depending on size)
Instructions
- Make the Filling: In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and ranch dip mix until smooth and well blended. Stir in the diced red bell pepper, chopped black olives, chopped green onions, and chopped deli ham until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Assemble Wraps: Lay out each tortilla on a flat surface. Spread a generous, even layer of the cream cheese mixture onto each tortilla, ensuring coverage to the edges for maximum flavor in each bite. Carefully roll up each tortilla tightly to form a log shape.
- Chill: Place the rolled tortillas seam-side down on a tray or plate. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the filling to set and make slicing easier, as well as to enhance the flavor meld.
- Slice & Serve: After chilling, use a sharp knife to slice each roll into approximately 1-inch thick pinwheels. Arrange on a serving platter and serve cold as an appetizer or party snack.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, omit the ham and add extra veggies like shredded carrots or cucumbers.
- Use gluten-free tortillas to make this recipe gluten-free.
- Chilling the pinwheels well before slicing helps maintain their shape.
- These can be made a day ahead and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- Try substituting turkey or chicken deli meat instead of ham for variation.
