Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 275°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mash Bananas: In a small bowl, mash the bananas with lemon juice and set aside.
- Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Beat Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Eggs: Add the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract.
- Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Stir in the buttermilk and mashed bananas. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until just combined.
