- 2 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Mix & Toss: In a large bowl, combine the mixed nuts, mini pretzels, and pumpkin seeds. Drizzle the mixture with the maple syrup, then sprinkle the cinnamon and a pinch of salt on top. Toss everything together thoroughly to ensure even coating.
- Bake: Spread the coated mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the oven for 15 to 18 minutes, stirring once halfway through to promote uniform toasting. The mixture is done when it becomes fragrant and lightly toasted.
- Cool Down: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the trail mix to cool completely on the sheet. This helps it crisp up further.
- Finish & Store: Once cooled, gently fold in the dried apple pieces. Transfer the trail mix to an airtight container for storage to maintain freshness and enjoy whenever you like.
