Ground Beef Mixture:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Other Ingredients:
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara or pasta sauce
- 8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or rigatoni)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the pasta: Cook the pasta until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Prepare the beef mixture: Cook onions, garlic, and beef. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Add marinara sauce and simmer.
- Combine and bake: Mix cooked pasta with beef mixture, place in a baking dish, top with cheeses, and bake until bubbly.
- Serve: Let it rest before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
