For the sliders:
- 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 6 slices cheddar cheese (halved)
- 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup dill pickle slices
For the sauce:
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons mustard
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
For garnish:
- 2 tablespoons butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the beef: In a skillet, cook ground beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder until browned. Add onions, simmer, then remove from heat.
- Prepare the sliders: Place bun bottoms in a baking dish. Top with beef mixture, pickles, and cheese. Spread sauce on bun tops. Cover with tops, brush with butter, sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Bake: Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
- Serve: Serve warm and enjoy!
