Crisp Oat Topping:

  • ½ cup oats
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons cold butter


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the dough: Cream together the butter and sugars, add eggs and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients. Fold in oats, apples, and nuts.
  3. Bake: Scoop dough onto baking sheets, top with oat topping, and bake for 12–14 minutes until golden.
