Crisp Oat Topping:
- ½ cup oats
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons cold butter
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Mix the dough: Cream together the butter and sugars, add eggs and vanilla, then mix in dry ingredients. Fold in oats, apples, and nuts.
- Bake: Scoop dough onto baking sheets, top with oat topping, and bake for 12–14 minutes until golden.
- Cool and enjoy: Let the cookies cool on the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
