- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon milk
- Optional: coarse sugar for sprinkling
- Non-stick cooking spray or parchment for air fryer
Instructions
- Cream Cheese Filling: In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Prepare Pie Crusts: Unroll the pie crusts and cut out 6–8 circles or rectangles. Place half of the crust pieces on a clean surface.
- Assemble Hand Pies: Spread cream cheese mixture and cherry pie filling onto crust pieces. Top with remaining crust pieces and seal edges with a fork.
- Egg Wash: Whisk together egg and milk for the egg wash. Brush over hand pies and sprinkle with coarse sugar.
- Air Fry: Preheat air fryer to 350°F. Place hand pies in a single layer and air fry for 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving.
